I've had the both of these brushes for a decent amount of time and I have not seen a comparison made of the two. Here I am, gracing you with that via blog post...
The Wet Brush is definitely the more popular of the two. The question is: Is it worth the hype. I was astonished when I first purchased The Wet Brush. I thought it was too good to be true. It brushed through my hair without feeling as if it was brushing through my hair. I have thick, wavy hair. So, that's saying something good. I've been a lover of The Wet Brush since I've purchased it. The only downside I've noticed is that after a year, the bristles are starting to bend and come loose. Considering I've had it for over two years, I'm impressed. The Wet Brush retails for around $8.99.
The Shower Brush was purchased most recently out of the two. I've noticed that the bristles are a bit tougher on the two. However, it still feels like your not brushing your hair, when in fact, you are. I've noticed that it detangles your hair well. Considering this is $3.99 (at Gabriel Brothers) it is a bargain. If you are skeptical of this, just spend the few extra dollars and buy The Wet Brush. I do highly recommend this, though. It is the same quality as The Wet Brush, if not better, for half the price.
Overall, I would go with The Wet Brush, just because I've had it the longest and trust it. The Shower Brush is still amazing and I used it almost every day. They're both amazing and I would highly recommend them!
