Roatán, Honduras is located in Central America and regardless of what time of the year you are visiting, it is humid. Especially, in the summer months. I recently visited in April and the temperature was around 85 degrees fahrenheit in the morning. By the afternoon, it was 93 degrees fahrenheit. I would keep this in mind if you are not a fan of hot, humid climates.
I, however, was exceedingly happy to visit a country with so much culture regardless of the temperature. Once we exited the port, we were bombarded with taxi services and shops trying to accommodate us. We did not take up on any of the offers outside of the port. However, we did do a fair amount of shopping inside the port. The pricing was decent, but you can find cheaper outside of the port. Overall, I had a wonderful first experience of Roatán. I cannot wait to visit again. You can find more stunning pictures of Roatán on my personal Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/xokferg or @xokferg.
