Yes, it's true. I, myself, am a nature lover/walker, hippie, adventurist, or anything else you might call someone who loves to take walks in this day-in-age.
I usually like to walk on the rails trails about 3 times a week.
I tend to walk 2-5 miles all together each day.
Which, in the middle of summer, is not the coolest, literally.
Although it is hot, I still enjoy getting a breath of fresh air.
These are pictures from my last walk that I did this week.
I'll probably be going on another walk tomorrow or the day after.
It's also a WONDERFUL source of exercise. Like, seriously, it is wonderful.
It doesn't even feel like you're exercising, except the sweating from the heat.
Other than that, easy peasy.
On top of that, it is also relaxing on your mind. It's calm and peaceful.
You forget about your worries and anxiety. You focus on the birds chirping and what you're about to step on (hopefully, it's not a snake).
Especially, if you live in the city, I would recommend getting away from it all for at least once a month.
It's only healthy.
